I just got these and they are pretty darn cool ESPECIALLY for the money. These glasses are really three items in one: sunglasses, mp3 player and bluetooth headset for your cell phone. As glasses, these are very comfortable and feel very sturdy. Solid frame that wraps around and holds snug to the head from the forehead and keeps contact with the head all the way around to the top of the ear. The coverage is wonderful and most of your field of view is covered. The glasses are polarized and seem of fair quality. As an mp3 player, the ear pieces are just ok. They are basically earbuds however they cannot be fully inserted into the ear canal but only snugly touch the your ear opening. As such there is little bass response but good mid and high range. I wasn't expecting audiophile quality however I also didn't expect audio quality this good so this is a plus. The buttons are intuitive and easy to find by feel which is important while riding a bike or running. I plugged these into my computer running Windows XP which immediately recognized the glasses as an external flash drive; no drivers needed. Easy drag and drop of music files........I wish all players were that easy. Finally, the bluetooth headset is the winner here. Two ear audio on cell phone calls and it is loud and CRYSTAL clear! I usually use a clip-on-the-ear Plantronics piece with my cell phone when driving in the car however my friends often complained of loud ambient noise coming through on their end, an echo, road noise etc. With these glasses they said they have to turn down the volume on their end because I am coming through so loud. The other comment is that they cannot believe I am in the car! No road or car noise comes through on their end! They swear I am on a land line! I am not sure how this little miracle is achieved but it works darn good. I highly recommend these glasses if only for the great bluetooth features and in fact am going to buy several just in case I lose or break one, I don't want to be without this EVER on my commutes again....I love them that much!
